About the Ddctor
Dr. Rocío García Cobos is a neurologist. She has extensive experience in the profession and extensive training in various areas of the specialty. Specifically, she is an expert in Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive impairment, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, and chronic pain, among other treatments and conditions.
Experience
A graduate in Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid, she specialized in Neurology via MIR (Residence in Neurology) at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid. She also holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies from the Neurosciences program at the Complutense University of Madrid.
She worked as the head of the Neurology Department and the Cognitive Impairment Unit at Quironsalud Madrid University Hospital for more than 10 years. She has taught as an associate professor in the Medicine program at the European University of Madrid and collaborated as principal investigator and sub-investigator in numerous research projects and clinical trials in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
Throughout her professional career, she has authored numerous publications at national and international conferences, as well as several articles in national and international journals and book chapters.
